Living Hope Adoption Agency was founded in 1994 by Samuel and Lily Fang. The Fangs, now American citizens, are originally from China. In the winter of 1993, they had the opportunity to return to their homeland and while there, visited an orphanage near Shanghai. After witnessing the overwhelming number of children in the orphanage, their hearts were moved to open an adoption agency in the U.S. to facilitate the adoption of Chinese orphans.
In June of 2000, Samuel and Lily welcomed their own daughter home, adopted from China.
